Offering cosy accommodation for up to four guests, this delightful retreat makes a characterful hideaway for couples and smaller families keen to explore the quaint villages, historic sites and magnificent landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales. The friendly village of Grassington has a charming cobbled market square and a choice of galleries, boutique shops and cafes. The historic town of Skipton is to the south (9.5 miles), home to an impressive castle and a wealth of fantastic restaurants and pubs. Pateley Bridge lies to the east (11 miles), sitting along the outskirts of the stunning Nidderdale National Landscape. A wonderful area for walkers, nature spotters and history buffs, the Yorkshire Dales has a wide variety of landmarks and attractions including Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal Water Garden, Brimham Rocks and Malham Cove, all within 20 miles.

Entering this idyllic cottage, the hallway leads to a handy utility room which has plenty of space for hanging coats and for four-pawed pets to rest. Heading through, the pretty lounge is beautifully furnished, with wooden ceiling beams, ample seating, a Smart TV and a lovely wood burner. The heart of the cottage is the country-style kitchen/diner, with an exposed stone wall, a central farmhouse dining table and ample equipment and workspace, perfect for rustling up a family feast. Exploring the ground floor of this charming hideaway further, the stylishly updated bathroom has an elegant freestanding rolltop bath as well as a shower cubicle. Heading upstairs you will have a choice between two light and colourful bedrooms: a floral-themed super-king-size room and a bright and cheerful double. The first floor also features a convenient WC.

Although the cottage has no outside space of its own, there is a cheerful bench, ideal for a morning coffee. The property is ideally positioned in a quiet part of the village with on-street parking available nearby.
