This beautiful steading is situated in the perfect spot for whisky connoisseurs to visit one of the many distilleries dotted around, including Glendronach (4.5 miles), Glen Garioch (13.5 miles), and Glenfiddich (26 miles). The thriving town of Inverurie is just 13.5 miles away, with some great restaurants and access to the railway, which can take you directly into Aberdeen city centre in 20 minutes. Taking a drive north, you will arrive on the beautiful Aberdeenshire coastline with the small villages of Pennan (22 miles), famous for the film Local Hero, and Portsoy (20 miles), famous for its ice cream and the Boat Festival each June. A little further along the coast into Moray, you will arrive at Cullen (24.5 miles) with its sandy beach and sea school offering excellent coastal water activities, including sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), surfing, and coasteering.
This modern cottage is incredibly spacious and flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows lining the lounge area. A large Smart TV, a wood burner, and a very comfortable sofa make it a great space to relax at the end of a busy day of sightseeing, or a quiet space to sit with a book and start the day slowly. From the lounge, there are stairs to the expansive upper bedroom, which has a double bed and two large armchairs which can be made up on request to two full-size single beds, great for a family with younger children. From the lounge, you can access the modern kitchen with a dining table and chairs, fully fitted with all the essentials you need to cook at home. From the kitchen, head through into the main corridor, arriving first at the spacious shower room with a large walk-in shower, then at the second bedroom at the end of the corridor with a double bed and a built-in wardrobe. The back door to the garden is also here.
The pet-friendly back garden is enclosed and has seating and furniture for dining. Parking for two cars is provided.
