An attractive and modern retreat, this spacious Welsh hideaway is perfect for discovering the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. Sleeping up to ten guests, the five-bedroom abode captures coastal views and is ideal for celebratory groups of friends and family. Stroll just 500 metres to the beach to play on the golden sand, paddle in the shallows and potter in rock pools. Dunraven Bay (2 miles) is also popular amongst those who enjoy hunting for fossils. Pull on your walking boots and stroll 2 miles along the banks of the Ewenny River to spot local wildlife and see the remains of the 12th-century castle. Wildlife lovers will also enjoy a visit to Merthyr Mawr Nature Reserve (5 miles), which is known for its high dunes. Plan an afternoon in charming Cowbridge (9.5 miles), where you can browse independent shops and stock up on Welsh produce.

Climb the five external steps to the front door of this three-storey cottage and be greeted by a light-filled open-plan living space. This airy room forms the social heart of the home and combines a well-appointed kitchen/diner with a stylish sitting room, perfect for unwinding in front of the Smart TV between days of adventure.
