The property is a beautiful family cottage set in 3 acres of gardens and woodland. Step straight out onto a sweet little sandy beach where the Firth of Clyde laps and inspires you to journey further. Keen walkers can take a hike around Glen Sannox, beginning less than half a mile away and taking you around this dramatic natural landscape. Or, equally close by, the Corrie Golf Club offers a picturesque 18 holes for those in your party who prefer a slower stroll.

Arrive at the cottage to find the classic, romantic facade, and enter to discover the spacious but cosy rooms. First, settle in to your sitting room, a warm, inviting space with exposed beams and an open log fire. Head through to your sweet country kitchen. It's got all you need to create meals for your family, or take dinner outside overlooking the water. There is also a utility room.  When you're ready to sleep, head upstairs where you will find a double, a twin and a single bedroom with a pull-out bed — each with lovely views of the surrounding landscape — making the upstairs a cosy hideaway.

Outside the cottage, you'll find perhaps the highlight of this property. 3 acres of garden, with mature planting and lush lawns, woodland, and even a landing onto the sandy shore of the Firth of Clyde. Your dog can range around these lovely enclosed grounds while you sit on the picnic bench with your morning coffee.

One of the most beautiful locations Ive ever stayed! The house is really well equipped & very comfortable. The huge utility room was a bonus for wet clothing & muddy boots. The house is very interesting & quite quirky, the old guest book makes for fascinating reading! Do be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs & both bathrooms are downstairs. The fRead moreully enclosed gardens are massive & beautiful with views out over the sea & a lovely beach beyond the garden gate with coastal path walks in either direction. Keeping the red squirrel box topped up with peanuts provides endless entertainment from the kitchen table, as do the fat ball feeders attracting a non stop stream of tits, finches, sparrows, robins & more! I would definitely love to return to Woodside, it is a treasure of a place! Hide

This cottage has got one of the best views and so close to the beach. Considering it accepts dogs its not very dog friendly , my dogs are house dogs and dont go on furniture they dont stay in the utility during the day but stay with us in the main house, asking not to leave any dog hairs anywhere which I dont I always clean before I leave a cottageRead more, it just made us feel as though the dogs arent welcome. Also beware of ticks in the garden , the dogs where covered in them everyday , we came home early due to this. Hide

STUNNING location. Amazing garden and access to the beach. Loads of red squirrels in the garden, and we saw otters in the sea. So many walks to do straight from the house. We went as mum and dad, three small children, and one adult friend, and the cottage accommodated us very well. Nothing was missing, and there was loads of information, maps etc.

A lovely and very homely cottage. Lots of space. Superb secure garden for dogs that like to explore. Garden gate straight onto the coastal path. Walking distance to the excellent Fran's tea room at the Corrie golf club. This is is second time we have stayed at this cottage.

The most beautiful location we have ever stayed at on Arran, the garden & beach access was stunning & enjoyed by humans & dogs alike. The house retains its beautiful original character & has clearly been loved by the family who own it for many years, reading the history & visitors book was fascinating.

This wonderful cottage was like stepping back in time. Liking the outdoors and walking, the utility room was a godsend and ample room for walking gear and wet dog. The lounge was cosy and the whole house warm. The gardens and beach amazing. We found the nuts in the utility room for the red squirrels and we were captivated.

Amazing location, quiet, away from the road and the beach at the end of the garden. Lovely homely cottage a bit dated in places but we loved it. We didn't want a modernised sterile place with no soul. This house has plenty of soul and you can feel the happiness that it has given the family who own it over the years. What a gorgeous house in a wonderful setting. it was like going back in time but with all the mod cons! The beach is just at the end of the garden and there are amazing walks right from the house. We could have amused ourselves all week without driving anywhere. We have booked for next year!
