Located on the edge of Buildwas village, just one and a half miles from the UNESCO world heritage site at Ironbridge, which boasts ten museums, independent shops, pubs and restaurants, not forgetting the world-famous Bridge. Fishermen can enjoy the River Severn, only 200 meters away, with day and week permits available in Ironbridge. With the added accolade that Ironbridge has recently been voted 6th in a Which survey for the top 60 UK towns to visit, you can enjoy numerous walks in the Ironbridge Gorge. Also on your doorstep is the Shropshire Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys offers even more opportunities for walking, cycling and golf, to mention just a few. Visit museums, galleries and National Trust properties such as Attingham Park, Benthall Hall and Dudmaston or head to the historic towns of Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth or Shrewsbury. There is so much to see and do.

Enter via the kitchen, flooded with natural light and views over the top paddock. There is the useful utility with washing machine, fridge/freezer and space to hang up your coats and kick off your boots. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher alongside the thoughtful little extras. Maybe lose yourself in a good book or pop down to the basement games room to test your skills at table football, play darts, watch the TV or stream your favourite music to the sound system. The peaceful double bedroom with en-suite wet room with shower and WC is also situated on the lower ground floor. Head back up to the ground floor and then up to the first floor and up the half flight of stairs to the lounge/diner to enjoy your meal and embrace the fabulous views from the dining area. After dinner, relax on the sofa with a warming wood burner effect electric fire should the evenings turn chilly, whilst watching your favourite programme or film on the TV/DVD.

Outside there is a private garden and patio with table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or al fresco dining. Listen to birdsong, watch the wildlife and stargaze on a clear night. Walk up to the top paddock and embrace the fabulous views over the rolling Shropshire Hills. There is private parking at the property for two cars and a secure lockable workshop is available if you need to store bicycles, motorcycles, fishing tackle or even kayaks. Please note this lovely wing set over three levels is part of the owners property though total privacy is assured.

Comfortable and well-equipped property well located for the Ironbridge and Shrewsbury area. Owners live in adjoining house and are very friendly and helpful.

A hidden gem in the shropshire country side. Quiet and cosy, with everything you need for yor stay. Thank you for an excellent welcome pack and very friendly hosts. Location is perfect for exploring the countryside, with National trust locations close by alongside everything Ironbridge gorge has to offer.

Lovely accommodation with great views even in the cloud! The upside down living is ideal. The cottage had everything I needed and was very comfortable. The accomodation is attached to the owners property but has a seperate entrance and garden area. It is an 'upside down' house with the dining/living area upstairs. This gives it lovely views over the River Severn Valley and surrounding hills. The accomodation has a homely feel and is warm and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the suRead morerrounding area which has numerous National Trust and English Heritage houses, walks and museums. Lots of local eateries. A great place to stay. Wenlock View is a lovely place to stay, extremely comfortable, well equipped and has lovely views. Keith and Dee are very friendly and importantly very knowledgeable about the local area. There is a bus service into Shrewsbury, lots of local walks, and interesting history to enjoy in and around Ironbridge. Highly recommend

Very comfortable accommodation with attractive decor. Lovely views of the Shropshire hills. Right at the heart of industrial and monastic heritage. Would use it again and hope for better weather for the many walks in the area.

we had a lovely week there very central for visiting lots of interesting places. Dee & Keith provide a lovely welcome pack upon arrival. The accommodation was clean, tidy and provided spectacular views of the Shropshire countryside.
