This cottage suited our "family reunion" needs with plentiful bedrooms with separate bathrooms and also taking up to 5 dogs. As an accommodation that does take dogs it was still very clean throughout on our arrival (no residual dog hairs anywhere). The cottage is in an outstandingly beautiful and rugged part of Scotland (so be prepared for the inRead moreevitable ticks and midges of the west coast). Baths rather than showers but plentiful hot water to indulge. We did use the washer and were delighted with the "drying room" off the hall which dried laundry overnight (and also great for wet coats etc). It has been the only cottage we've stayed in where the fire blanket has actually been mounted (as it should be), so hats off to the owners. The caretaker/estate manager lives down the "lane" and is obviously a useful source of local information. The panoramic view from the sunroom window was spectacular with an ever changing cloud scape, rainbows and sunsets over the visible islands of Eigg and Rum. Hide

Fantastic place to stay whilst travelling with dogs. Great downstairs space for families and groups of people. Drying room and large utility room were so useful for our wet clothing, dog coats etc. Great location; remote but not too far a drive to places we wanted to go. For those with dogs, the garden is pretty much enclosed with a few areas escapRead moreees could get out. Amazing off-lead walks from the house into the hills where you can walk for hours without meeting anyone. Lovely caretakers! Hide

As a group of 8 people, we found that we had plenty of space and comfortable accommodation. The property is located well away from the main road and the views from it are very fine. Plenty of cooking equipment was available, and the large round dining table with a substantial lazy Susan at its centre was a particularly welcome feature. We would havRead moree no hesitation in recommending this property. Hide
