If surfing isn't your thing then why not bring a picnic instead and spend the afternoon with the kids building sandcastles? There are welcoming pubs just a short walk from the property if you fancy a family meal out together.

From there you will find a lounge with a Smart TV, radio, Alexa and well-stocked bookshelves and an open fire with a starter pack of fuel, so you can relax in this cosy space nestled upon the stylish sofas. Downstairs also has a cosy twin room, and a games room with a single sofa bed, pool table, table football and an en-suite shower room with a WC. Upstairs, there is a spacious and stylish family bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC. The bedrooms include two double bedrooms which are comfortably furnished, and three beautifully decorated twin bedrooms with large windows that let light stream in and allow for incredible views.

A large private garden provides the perfect space to relax and spend time outside with your family. Fire up the BBQ and sit on the patio under the pergola to enjoy a meal outside with the coastal scenery. We had a wonderful stay at Rothmar East and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. The house itself is spacious, comfortable and full of character, with generous-sized high-ceiling rooms that easily accommodated our group of ten. It is very well equipped and provided everything we needed for a relaxiRead moreng and enjoyable stay. What really sets the property apart is its location. The scenery is absolutely spectacular, with stunning coastal views, beautiful countryside and some of the best walking routes we have experienced. The coastal walks are exceptional, offering a real sense of space, tranquillity and connection with nature. The area strikes an ideal balance between peaceful remoteness and access to local amenities. The nearby Old Clubhouse Pub was a particular highlight, serving excellent food and good local beer in a welcoming atmosphere. The adjacent golf course is beautifully situated and adds to the appeal of the location. We were also struck by the warmth and friendliness of the local people, who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Overall, Rothmar East provided the perfect base from which to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. A memorable house in a truly outstanding location. Hide
