Property code: OC-81181

Set in a stunning location on the shores of Loch Ainort in the village of Luib, just outside Broadford. This property offers fantastic opportunities for those looking to explore the eastern shores of the Isle of Skye. Due to the property’s central location, the wealth of natural wonders that Skye has to offer are all within easy reach by car. Such as Fairy Pools, Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, Neist Point, Dunvegan Castle and Talisker Distillery and many more are all reachable on day trips. Being only a short distance back to the Skye Bridge, visits to the likes of the charming village of Plockton and Eilean Donan Castle are also possible.

The property offers panoramic views of the Red Cuillins with window views out to the impressive likes of Marsco and Glamaig. Across the loch, views stretch out to the Isle of Raasay, Isle of Scalpay and mainland Scotland on a clear day. Access to the property is via the back-door ramp which leads into the utility area, great for when you come home with muddy boots after a busy day of exploring. The utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. From here you enter into the spacious kitchen, which contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. As you leave the kitchen, you will find a dining area for six people which then flows through into the heart of the house: the lounge. Sink into the comfortable sofas, cosy up by the wood burner, watch some TV or become lost in the spectacular views of the water – you may even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or otter! The house has been tastefully furnished with local art and coastal themes throughout. The hallway leads to each of the bedrooms; one king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with WC and TV, a further king-size bedroom with TV, and one twin bedroom with two full-size single beds. All of the bedrooms are of a good size and have been tastefully furnished, and all three boast beautiful waterside views.

The property is located off the main road and is set down into the hill, meaning that noise from any passing traffic is minimal. The driveway sweeps down the hill to the bungalow, with ample parking space for three cars. You can enjoy the breathtaking views from a seat in the enclosed garden, where you are sure to catch spectacular sunrises and sunsets throughout the year.

Stunning location and perfect for exploring beautiful Skye. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and has every need catered for. The views from Sulaire are amazing, we saw an eagles, otters and seals amongst the other birdlife, it makes it very hard to leave each day, but the island is wonderful with so many lovely attractions.

We can't recommend this cottage enough. It is ideally located to see all the sights of Skye, with beautiful views too. Road noise is not an issue at all, it just makes it easier to get around. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, immaculately clean and has literally everything you could need (even a torch to see the dog in the garden).
