This beautiful home is in the most stunning village of Beauly, with lovely shops and cafes we made full use of these and even took a stroll down to the village to support the music, highland dancing and marching. Enjoyed with chips and ice cream. The apartment its self is set on beautiful grounds and the history behind it is so special. We had an amazing time at this Cottage from start to finish, where i was very sad to leave. We chose this cottage and location for several reasons important to us as a family. It was my son's happy birthday, where we were joined by him and his girlfriend. We wanted some quiet time in the country. I was born in Strathpeffer so this area is a second Read morehome to me and we also found out my son, who studies at Aberdeen passed his 4th year medical exams. We have made some beautiful memories. A month or so on, i keep these memories close and reflect on these happy, sunny days and smile. The apartment itself is of a very high quality and sparkling clean. It is luxurious with cosy throws, velvet cushions and presents with a welcoming atmosphere with books throughout. There are also retro radios. I have bought one since coming home. There are so many aspects of this apartment to really like and enjoy and so well presented. There is a unique charm which I miss. We are returning early October again for some relaxation and recovery, just Frank and I this time. I am looking forward to experiencing Autumn time. As a family, we were very fortunate to have and enjoy this experience. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Rowan and Robbie xx Hide

I can honestly say from booking this property, to checking out the whole experience could not have been better. The owners could not be more welcoming and were very proactive in their instructions and making sure every thing went smoothly. I know the Ross-Shire area very well having grown up there and this particular location is perfect for headingRead more out to Inverness or going further afield to the West Coast. The House itself was outstanding, set in beautiful surroundings. Well furnished, spotlessly clean, the furniture including the beds were very comfortable. When we head back to the Highlands we hope that we are lucky enough to stay here again! Hide

We have stayed in many great places, including castle suites, but nothing comes close to this manor house apartment! The efforts and care taken to make the place so warm and welcoming, with absolutely everything you may need provided, it was spectacular. We arrived to flowers all about the place, plus fruit and cakes and eggs etc. The beds were so Read morecomfortable with the softest bedding, everything was spotless, and the art on the walls and interior decor were so tasteful, with a light Scottish theme. We loved the games room, the gardens, and the very comfy sofas to relax on...so we hope very much to return, and to a location that was ideal for driving to great beaches of the Black Isle as well as Glen Affric. There were issues with the property. It was super cold and quite dirty in places. My biggest gripe was the owners (who were very contactable and responsive) that walked above where I stayed on super creaky floorboards. I was under the impression the accomodation was to the side of the owners space. Had I know it was beneath, Id have booked elsewherRead moree. My advice to the owners would be to give the place a deep clean and make it clear the accomodation is the ground floor with people above. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at LM. It was decorated and furnished to a very high standard - and very tastefully. Lots of personal touches and very Scottish which was great to see. The house itself is so impressive as are the gardens. Despite being near a main road, it feels very secluded and private. The Games Room is a real bonus for anyone with kids.Read more I enjoyed it myself too! The hosts provided a very personal touch too - very easily contactable through WhatsApp for queries. Thoroughly recommended. Hide

We were very warm and comfortable. Appreciated the many thoughtful touches such as the vases filled with greenery from the gardens, the games, books, magazines, maps. Id imagine children would spend rainy days happily in the games room. A good base to explore the area by car and lovely walks off the main road from the doorstep.
