Cottage was remote not near salcombe as stated. Standard of cleanliness very poor. Garden small and scruffy. Cottage requires maintenance work. No shop in village. Quaint pub but book in advance for a meal at weekend. Most disappointed with the cottage but good coastal walks

Back to Ringmore (again) so we could feast at the pub after walking our socks off, this time staying in Rock Cottage. Well appointed and equipped, with all the essentials in a cosy cottage. Enjoyed our time there.

A nice cottage with character, warm & cosy. It is on a corner with quite a busy road going past. Parking is literally on a rock, not good for a big or low car. Be aware that if arriving in the winter time there are no street lights in the village so come equipped with a torch. The kitchen is very compact as the photos suggest. Despite the above, we did have a nice stay in this quirky cottage. We only really spent the evenings in, because driving in the narrow lanes with no light was rather scary. This was not really made clear in the posting. Some of the photos were also quite misleading, especially those which showed the beach, this was not nearly as close as it looked.Read more The description should have mentioned that you are in the middle of nowhere & those with mobility issues, should perhaps consider somewhere else. Good location, comfortable and well equipped. Watch out for low ceiling and beware of narrow roads. Reasonable weather we had for the week.

We stayed as a family of four with two young girls and found the cottage in the ideal place for a nice walk to the local beach at Ayrmer cove. Cottage very conformable and clean. It had all necessary amenities if required. We chose to travel to different places to eat as we were on holiday and I do not cook on holiday. Very nice place to stay.
