Cosy and comfortable cottage which is perfectly located for walking and sightseeing. Lots to do in the area from castles to hillwalking. Great pubs, both in the village and within a couple of miles. Nearest shop is 5 minutes drive with a lovely deli opposite. Beds really comfortable, we all slept really well. Floors are on different levels which maRead morey be tricky for the elderly. Lovely bathroom with constant hot water (there isn't a second, just a toilet downstairs). Thoroughly recommended. Hide

Very cosy and well equipped house, carefully modernised while keeping its original charme. And especially the very comfortable beds are to be emphasized.

Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped, and very central for the major sites in the Peak District. The owners were quick to respond to a query, and were very helpful.

I have just spent two weeks at North View. I cannot praise the cottage highly enough. One of the most relaxing breaks I've had in a long time. Perfect location, beautiful countryside on the doorstep. The host provided a fabulous welcome pack for me and my dog. Just perfect :)

It was unfortunate that the weather suddenly turned cold. Sleeping in the twin bedded room was not great as it was so cold. Everything else was brilliant and the Aga really helped with warmth.
