Golf enthusiasts can enjoy an array of courses close at hand including the championship courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews. The historic towns of Alyth and Kirriemuir - the birthplace of J M Barrie and Bon Scott of ACDC - and the vibrant city of Dundee, are all within easy reach.
