Known as the Hideaway House, this Grade II listed Cottage is in the attractive Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron. Lined with colourful painted houses, the town has an elegant feel. Stroll around the harbour and enjoy a famous honey ice cream or delicious fish and chips and watch the boats or walk to the pebble beach. There’s a good selection of chic independent shops, cafes and restaurants, and the town plays host to many events throughout the year. Nearby is the National Trust house of LLanerchaeron,  or why not explore the rest of glorious Cardigan Bay. Visit the quaint seaside town of New Quay and take a boat trip; bottlenose dolphins are resident in the bay and can be seen all year round! There are 60 miles of coastal path to walk if you feel like a challenge, or plenty of sandy beaches nearby including Llangrannog, Penbryn and Tresaith and many are dog-friendly year-round! The coastal towns of Cardigan to the south and Aberystwyth to the north are well worth a day trip and you will see some stunning scenery along the way. Come and discover what this wonderful and diverse part of West Wales has to offer.

Enter through the front door into the entrance hallway; this warm and welcoming space is the perfect space to kick of your boots. To the left of the hallway, you will find the cosy lounge area with comfy sofas, Smart TV and feature fireplace. As you walk along the hallway, you will enter the formal dining area with original sash windows and lots of character; this the perfect space to enjoy a home-cooked meal together. Just a step down with a slight height restriction of five foot nine inches to the final room to complete the downstairs is the kitchen. Equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and small fridge/freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a door leading off the kitchen to the rear patio. Heading upstairs, you will find the three bedrooms: the first bedroom which is a double, the second is a sweet single bedroom and then the final bedroom is the master double bedroom with a Smart TV. Also on this upper floor you will find the shower room and WC (with some height restrictions).

Venturing outside to the rear of the property, you will find your own enclosed patio area and enjoy the charcoal BBQ, a great spot for al fresco dining in the warmer months and chill on the rattan outdoor furniture. Relax and unwind in your very own private hot tub. There is a designated parking for two cars.

Cannot fault this cottage, immaculately clean and furnished. Will certainly recommend to our friends, and stay again if we visit the area in the future.

A really lovely property. The owner has presented it well and taken time to ensure everything you need for the stay is made available. We spoke with the owner who could not have been more helpful and engaging. The house was quiet, warm and comfortable. The on site parking space at the rear of the property is so valuable given the paucity of parkingRead more spaced locally. Hide

Comfortable and cosy. Excellent access to all amenities in Aberaeron by foot, off-road parking for two cars is a real bonus.
