The seaside town of Westward Ho! is a popular holiday destination, offering a range of family entertainments, a golf course, access to the South West Coast Path and there are some lovely walks across the Burrows. Bring your buckets and spades and enjoy family days on the two miles of long sandy beach, or why not try your hand at surfing. The charming fishing village of Appledore is 3 miles, with its picturesque quayside, array of restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, and galleries. The surrounding area is home to a plethora of renowned beaches and attractions, such as Instow (5 miles), Saunton Sands (19 miles), Woolacombe (25 miles), The Big Sheep (2.5 miles), The Milky Way (9.5 miles), the historic cobbled streets of Clovelly (12 miles), Lundy Island, and many more.

Enter through a gated entrance and along a path to the front door of this impressive apartment. Step into the ground floor entrance hall which is a perfect place for storing sandy shoes after a day on the beach. From here head upstairs to the first-floor landing which leads to four of the immaculate bedrooms. There is a master king-size bedroom with a Juliet balcony with sliding doors, Smart TV and an en-suite shower room, a king-size bedroom with French doors opening onto the balcony, a further king-size bedroom, and a bunk bedroom. Completing this floor is a lounge with a 50" Smart TV and large glass sliding doors that open onto a balcony with two reclining chairs. Head up a second flight of stairs to the second floor where you are greeted by a spacious open-plan lounge/diner, which is made for relaxing with family and friends, with comfy seating and a 55" Smart TV. On warm sunny days open the large sliding glass doors to the second balcony with sea views, making the space even larger. From the dining area sliding doors open to the contemporary and stylish kitchen which has all the facilities you will need to cook a lazy breakfast or a delicious feast. There is also a useful utility room. You will also find the fifth bedroom on this floor a bunk room. The snug/lounge boasts sea views and French doors opening onto the balcony and can be set up as the sixth bedroom, a double bedroom which is made up on request (at the time of booking). The bed can be hidden in a ‘sideboard’, so when not requested this room will be treated as a snug/lounge. Completing this floor is a cloakroom with a WC.

As well as being able to enjoy the apartments two balconies there is also an enclosed courtyard garden. Here you will find a table and chairs, which makes a lovely spot for your morning coffee, some al fresco dining, or enjoy some summertime sunbathing on the sun loungers.

Great place to stay as it is very close to the amusements and beach. Large dinning room table to seat everyone, and great views from the top floor. Very clean and comfortable beds, we even used the Snug as a bedroom. This building has a lot of stairs, but if you have children it does stairgates at the top of each set, which we did use.

We stayed for a week 22 August. It was our 2nd stay. Beautiful apartment, well situated within walking distance to all amenities, the green and the sandy beach. The house was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone, great sized bedrooms with plenty of storage. Location to beach couldnt be any more perfect. Plenty to do in the area within walking distance but also plenty to do with a short drive out. Great enclosed garden with secure gate so perfect for four legged guests.

Very modern house. Set on 3 floors with the kitchen on the top floor. Stairs quite tricky for young children. Beds comfortable. And rooms nicely decorated. Garden small and not practical for dogs. We had 2 small dogs. The fake grass on hot days smelt of wee! Amazing location. Right in the centre of WestWard Ho! Stone Bay was such a lovely place to stay, the house itself was beautiful and the communal areas were perfect. The garden was great as well, a real sun trap and the furniture outside was great! Lucy the housekeeper was super helpful too. All in all a really lovely property, and great value for money.

Really great property in a perfect location. Lots of parking and an electric car charger. We loved it! There were a few issues with too few glasses and we couldn't find the cutlery but phoned the house contact and Lucy came round in about 15 mins with replacements despite it being Friday night! The accommodation was spotless with very comfortable mRead moreattresses and lots of space. One point to note, the stairs are very steep but anyone with mobility issues would struggle but the house is luxurious! Hide

Stone Bay is in an excellent location with parking in the centre of Westward Ho. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful holiday. Nearby the Rock Pool cafe was very good for breakfast. The kids loved the rock pools and beach and nearby amusements. The Big Sheep was also a big hit.

It was a brilliant place for our family of 11 including grandchildren. The property is superb, well-equipped, beautifully appointed, light and spacious. It has such good access to local amenities and attractions, including of course, the sea with its Atlantic breakers! A nearby playground, good-sized green are all helpful with young children. This is an amazing house! Perfect location to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops and the amusements. The house itself is very modern and well decorated, the owners have thought of everything ( the fans in each room were welcome), kitchen well equipped, great having a laundry room.
