We had a lovely week in Linton Cottage. It was a spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and cosy cottage. West Linton is a lovely village. Great curry at the Gordon Arms. We used the Straiton park and ride to go into Edinburgh (you get the bus outside of the car park) but there is a bus stop in the village that goes there. This cottage is in a very good location if you want a day trip or two into Edinburgh. The bus was on time and reliable and it took about 40 minutes. The village smaller than we expected but had a chemist, small Co-op and we can recommend the pub.
