There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer in here should you need them during your stay. Eglais is a well-appointed, well-organised and attractive cottage. The views are breathtaking. Our kids would have loved to have spent more time pottering about in the stream or nearby but there were lots of midges while we were there - just down to luck and weather. Lots of great walking even for inexpert hikers like ourselves, and the Applecross Read morepeninsula and Gairloch are reachable as well. Hide

This property is brilliant. Very comfortable very well equipped and a superb location. I do accept that for some access may be an issue with the steps but this is made clear at the outset and did not give us an issue at all

We were in Scotland to get married on a mountain and this was the perfect base! Very well equipped, we actually cancelled dinner at the hotel in favour of cooking up a storm at the cottage as kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of space, a cosy living room, and nicely decorated throughout. Warm and homely, three bathrooms and three bedrooms soRead more plenty room. Excellent location for hiking, swimming, star gazing and lake views. Recommend! Hide
