Inside the cottage is lovely. Main problem was the small shower cubicles. Garden was not safe for dogs We had blocked drains while there which meant the downstairs shower room was out of action for most of the week. The islands are beautiful with lots of wildlife. We heard Corncrakes across the road from the cottage. Coop was well stocked

Stay was fantastic. Excellent location for both nearby beach, handy shop and exploring the island. The house was warm and well equipped. Always felt cosy to come back to after a day's adventure. Warm welcome from Cathina, lovely woman and felt we could go to her if we needed anything. Would definitely come back to North Uist and stay here again.

This is a great property. Well located on the main road but not too close and with lots of land for the dog to run about safely. Next to the Co-Op so no need to do a huge shop pre arrival. Design is ingenious both upstairs and down and with every kitchen utensil you'd ever need. A great place to WFH as well with the WIFI good and reliable enough. WRead moree even had unprecedented hot and sunny weather as well. Hide

20 min walk to beach. 2 min walk to coop. Quiet location. Quirky layout of rooms . Plenty games and books for wet weather

This delightful cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the island and the Co-op next door was very useful. Kathina was very helpful about where to eat on the island, places to visit and the best beaches to walk our dog. Despite the very strong winds we had for three days, the beaches wereRead more amazing places to walk and enjoy the scenery. Hide
