Journey into Ripon to explore the city’s excellent array of independent shops and eateries, or soak up the local history at the magnificent, 7th-century cathedral or one of the many museums. The property is also just 10 miles from the spa town of Harrogate populr for RHS Harlow Carr and Betty's tea room, and nearby attractions include Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden (1 mile) and the fascinating geological site at Brimham Rocks (6 miles).

The converted barn still retains many of its original features, such as exposed stone walls and striking wooden trusses. These characterful elements seamlessly sit alongside carefully chosen decor and a myriad of contemporary touches, such as cosy underfloor heating, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The entrance hall, where you can store all your outdoor gear, and from here head through to the social heart of the home: a spacious, light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner with patio doors, skylights, and a vaulted ceiling. At one end is a bespoke kitchen area where you’ll find everything needed to prepare delicious feasts for the group, which you can share around the kitchen island or at the dining table. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room. After dinner, unwind in the comfortable lounge area to watch a movie on the Smart TV, or head upstairs to the mezzanine snug to enjoy a quiet moment reading your book. Back at ground level, the property has three inviting bedrooms, all with their own, unique styling. Choose from a super-king-size, or two versatile super-king-size bedrooms that can be made up as twins on request. One of the bedrooms has its own, en-suite shower room, and a further two separate shower rooms round off the accommodation.

Outside, bask in the sunshine on the patio at the front of the property, where you can dine alfresco, relax in front of the fire pit and take in the fabulous countryside views.
