A lovely property in a quiet location by the River Tay. Comfortable accommodation with communal areas on upper floor to take advantage of the river views. The steps to the garden, and the slope of the drive are very steep, and could be difficult for some older or less able people. The area around has much of interest and beautiful scenery. Perth Read morecity is close and has excellent shopping. The village of Stanley has hotel, pub, and shops. Excellent restaurants in the vicinity. Nicky and James are very friendly and helpful hosts. A lovely place to stay with gorgeous views across the river. Plenty of space to relax both inside and out. Close to Perth and Pitlochry so a good location off the main A9 but close enough to get around easily

Fantastic place to stay. Admittedly we got the good weather but having the river on your doorstep (literally) and a sandy beach 100 yards up the river. What else could you want..! Accommodation was excellent. The Owners were on hand for any issue (of which there really werent any) and very comfortable.

We loved staying at Lodge by the River Tay. It's a comfortable and welcoming place, very quiet, but still close to a lot of activities. We enjoyed walks along the river, and sighting beavers in the early morning hours. Our Labrador enjoyed swims in the afternoon. The Lodge is central to loads of things in Perthshire - distilleries, castles, ancientRead more monuments and museums, outdoor activities, and boutique shopping in Pitlochry. The hosts Nicky and James were wonderful! Thank you. Hide
