We've just had a lovely week in this comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage, which is in a prime location for exploring the southern half of the Lake District. The owners are very friendly and supportive, the only thing they couldn't do anything about was the weather, but c'est la vie, and there are lots of good pubs and eateries not far away.

We had a lovely time in this cottage. The house was spotlessly clean and the garden is beautiful. Having off street parking in front of the cottage was very useful, and full use was made of the hot tub. All the amenities worked well. The owners live next door and gave us a friendly greeting when we arrived. They popped round a few times to maintainRead more the hot tub but otherwise left us to it. Shops are a short drive away and it was just 5 minutes drive to the southern end of lake Windermere. Hide

A brilliant cottage in a great location, easy access to either side of Lake Windermere. 2 minutes drive from the Hatherthwaite train station and the motor museum. The amenities at the place were perfect, the owners were very helpful and even left a welcome gift on arrival.
