This was the most beautiful place to say and we will definitely be back. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. It has everything you need. I could happily live here. Well thought out Lodge for the two of us and our Dog. Very clean, comfortable, loads of relevant info in the info pack, Wi-Fi etc. Even some small goodies as a welcome. Location is ideal between Manchester and Chester and motorways. Yes there the school run traffic, like every other UK town, but plenty options in the area to meet and see things. BeRead morest of all was the dedicated Dog exercise grass field enclosed, ours loved it. Highly recommended. Hide

The lodge was well-equipped, clean & ideally located for day trips. Allowing early check-in was appreciated. However, hot water was unreliable. Garden maintenance was scheduled on 2 of our 4 days, disrupting relaxation and we weren't informed in advance & pausing only happened after we made a point of raising it, this felt very uncomfortable. The oRead morewners' two dogs occasionally bark at guests & passing dogs; this should have been mentioned upfront for nervous guests or those with reactive dogs. Hide

We had a very relaxing stay with our 2 dogs who thoroughly enjoyed exercising in the paddock. Love the area especially as hubby grew up near here so was a trip down memory lane! Very comfy bed and great kitchen for cooking in. Really appreciated the welcome pack. Highly recommend and hope to return.

My wife & I both needed to get away & switch off for a few days with our dog. I cant say how relaxed I felt and that's saying something for me , (who finds it difficult to switch off). All rooms were very comfortable & the dog enclosure was fully appreciated & so nice to let Ziggy have a run around knowing he couldnt run off . Loved Rupert & willow
