Perched on the Jurassic coast, Sidmouth itself offers a beautiful sandy beach and is a great place to relax and go rock pooling. Walk along the beachside esplanade and visit the fine array of local shops and eateries where you are sure to find something for all tastes. If you fancy a change of scenery the popular beaches of Beer, Exmouth and Lyme Regis with its fossil hunting are all within 19 miles of the lodge. Stepping up into the lodge into the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner you will notice the lovely high wooden ceilings. The lounge space provides two comfortable leather sofas, a Smart TV, and of course a roaring wood burner for those truly relaxing family movie nights, and an ideal space to bring out a family board game perhaps. The kitchen area also doesn’t disappoint, possessing all the appliances needed for a stress-free stay, whilst the dining table provides ample seating for all guests to sit and dine with ease. From this open-plan space, you can make your way through the lodge, passing a family shower room and onto the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with an accompanying en suite shower room, whilst the second bedroom handily offers twin single beds
Making your way outside onto the surrounding terrace, guests can take in the beautiful views overlooking the River Otter, all from the comfort of their own outdoor seating. Stepping down onto the enclosed garden and patio, guests can indulge in a further seating area, along with a fantastic all-in-one play area with wooden chippings matting for children to play whilst parents sit back, relax and take in those melting sunsets over the surrounding countryside.
