Westward Ho! is close by with its two mile stretch of sandy beaches, arcades and independent eateries. Bude is slightly further afield, although still an easy drive with several sandy beaches, golf course, canal-side artisan cafes, surf shops, a local history museum and art gallery. Other attractions such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep Adventure Park, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor, Hartland Abbey and Hartland Quay are also within easy reach.
Two steps lead onto the gated veranda to this single storey water’s edge rustic lodge. The glass porch area is not only perfect to store coats, wellies and walking boots, but is ideal for sitting with a good book whilst admiring the views over the lake. Head on through into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer and dishwasher. The lounge has comfortable seating and a log effect electric fire for those cooler evenings and here relax and catch up on your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Located off the lounge are the two bedrooms: one double and one bunk room. A shower room with shower and WC completes the offering inside the property.
After a busy day, sit and relax on the balcony which overlooks the picturesque lake. To the side of the property is a grassy area which is ideal for evening barbecues. With the lake just a couple of meters away this really is a fisherman’s heaven.
