Excellent accommodation in lovely location with very helpful owners. Ideal for dogs with both a securely fenced small garden area and beautiful walks through farm and across National Trust land without getting in car. Yes, there are close by farm buildings but they are quiet and actually made the accommodation feel snug and tucked away. We loved itRead more and are planning to return. Our 4th stay at the cottage (I think - I've lost count!) and 3rd Christmas there for me and my dog, Kaia. This was the first time we'd stayed during winter with really, really cold weather. I thought this would be the year we'd need to use the wood burner, but didn't need to light it once. The heating in the cottage made it incredibly toasty and waRead morerm. Otherwise, everything was brilliant, as usual. And lovely to catch up with Jo! Hide

Our 6th stay at this cottage. Jo always ensures the cottage is warm and bright on arrival. There was wood for the fire, and simple Christmas decorations too. Thanks for the milk, tea, cider and biscuits! Always good to see you. All the best for 2026!

Much bigger than wed expected. A innovative beautifully designed holiday home. It suited our needs but the location may not suit everyone, its roughly a mile from the road on a working farm with amazing views up the hill. Although it could be described as remote its only 6 miles from Bridport and all of its amenities

One Old Coombe Cottage is a wonderful cottage with so much space. Everything is of such a high spec. The outside seating area is so private and secluded with an excellent planted area which distracts from the adjacent farm building and will soon obscure much of that view. Comfortable cozy, light and spacious cottage in a very quiet location. Very clean and a warm welcome with a wonderful welcoming package and lots of information. Beautiful walks from your doorstep or a short drive away. The only bit of a letdown for us was that the cottage is in between some barns with a bit of a limited view.
