This cosy and quirky cottage is just 2.5 miles from the pretty village of Chulmleigh, where you can wander its winding streets and browse the local cafes, shops and galleries. Nearby are also a wide range of National Trust gardens and properties which are great to explore on a rainy day, as are RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Or head to the north coast and explore the sandy beaches at Instow, Westward Ho!, Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton.
This reverse style accommodation offers contemporary style accommodation, yet boasting some original features with the exposed original wooden beams. From the rear garden, the entrance door leads into the utility room where you can kick off your walking boots. A few steps up is another door leading into the first floor, open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. There is ample seating in the lounge area, where you can settle down and watch a film on the Smart TV. Stepping outside from the utility room is an enclosed private garden with a patio, garden furniture and a BBQ, as well as a lawn area overlooking the farmland. There is also an enclosed shared, heated outdoor swimming pool, which is open from mid-May to end September, as well as an outdoor play area, games barn with a pool table and various games, and a tennis lawn. Guests are also encouraged to explore the many pathways which meander from the farm and across the countryside.
