Just 1 mile away, Weymouth Beach is the perfect spot to start your day. With its golden sands and gently sloping shore, it’s ideal for everything from sunbathing and paddling to traditional treats and long strolls along the promenade. Head a little further into Weymouth town centre (3 miles) to explore its bustling harbour, shops, cafes and restaurants. Take a drive to Portland Bill Lighthouse (12 miles), where dramatic vistas and fresh sea air make it well worth the trip. Nearby, the historic town of Dorchester (7 miles) offers museums, markets and a rich heritage to discover. And for some of Dorset’s most iconic scenery, don’t miss Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door (13 miles).

Enter into a welcoming hallway where coats and shoes can be left after a day out, before moving through to an inner hallway that leads to all the main rooms. A great location with a 10 minute walk to the beach, The house is very well equipped with kitchen items and a very good sized shower. The living room views were beautiful and i spent every morning sat on the sofa with a cup of coffee in hand watching the birds in the Nature reserve. Bedrooms are both a great size too. The garden was a good size andRead more not over looked and is in a very paceful area. 1 small problem is we wasnt there long enough, We were asll very sad to have to leave. But we cannot recommend this home highly enough. Hide

We had a lovely few days in this house. There was everything we needed to enjoy our stay - all the equipment we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (if we hadnt just bought a mattress at home I would be buying one like this one!). The location was lovely and quiet and with easy access to the path thRead morerough the wetlands to the beach. I think well be coming back soon! Hide
