Property code: OC-88216

Located within half a mile of one of the UK’s prettiest coastal paths, this location is ideal for couples and families who love the outdoors. Popular with walkers, this beautiful and rugged coastline stretches 46 miles and provides a variety of walks to suit all abilities. The picturesque village and bay of Port Eynon are located less than a mile away and can be easily walked, however, there is a large pay and display car park should you prefer to drive down with the surfboards and kayaks. The Mumbles headland and fishing village, located 14 miles away, is home to luxury boutiques, handmade crafts and world-class ice cream. Other popular beaches within 15 miles include Rhossili Beach, Oxwich Bay, Three Cliffs Bay and Caswell Bay.

Entering this quaint coastal cottage and into the hallway, you will find a lovely shower room to your right and a country-style kitchen straight ahead. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Taking one step down to your left you will find a separate WC and a door leading through to the lounge area. Here you have an open-plan living/dining room with large, exposed beams and beautiful views from the French patio doors, looking out to the Gower Peninsula. After a busy day exploring the surrounding areas, you can enjoy a home-cooked meal at the dining table then curl up on the sofa in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire, watching shows on the Smart TV. The cottage is named after a sunken ship off Port Eynon, and a further nod to its history is the steep, wooden ship stairs hidden behind a wooden door leading to the first floor (steep and uneven staircase with handrail). Here you will find two cosy and comfortable double bedrooms, one with large windows overlooking the front of the property and the other with a small window where you can sit and enjoy the sea views. There is also a second WC upstairs in a Jack and Jill style for both bedrooms.

Outside is rear enclosed lawned garden with a bistro table, chairs and night-time lighting – a great space to take your favourite drink and chat about the adventures had. Private parking for one vehicle to the front of the cottage, additional parking is available.

Lovely location, lovely bed, and bedding but the house needs cleaning, would be better if it was finished off , not clean !! paint work terrible, one hook ( broken) on shower room door, too much money per week for the standard it was presented in. Garden a sun trap but poorly finished.

Milan Cottage was the perfect place for a much needed retreat. Its charming features and wonderful position with views of the sea were magical. As wild life lovers we enjoyed the surroundings and easy access to the coastal path. I would recommend for anyone seeking a quiet and restorative break away.

This is a quaint and cosy period cottage with authentic decor and furnishings. The quirky stairs and upstairs "under the eaves" feeling add to it's charm. Its in a great location for access to coastal walks and for exploring the Gower. Its not the last word in high-end convenience of modern living. The bathroom facilities are adequate but not greatRead more. The upstairs "Jack and Jill" bathroom is a welcome addition. Expect to enjoy it for what it is and its fine. Hide
