The cottage is in a quiet rural area - hardly any passing cars. The top of the garden looks over open countryside - a very pleasant location - and the garden was well looked after. The bedroom has a hanging wardrobe and a chest of drawers + small bedside units. The double bed was very comfortable. The living room/kitchen is a large room with a sRead moreofa and armchair. TV is streamed via WiFi - this did buffer from time to time. The owners property extends over the cottage, so we did hear people above sometimes, but this was not intrusive. The kitchen area is well equipped. Some dishwasher and laundry tablets were supplied - very helpful. There is a log burner but we didn't use it, so we can't comment on that. The bathroom has a good sized shower which worked well. The bathroom itself is on the small side. There is also a large hallway/lounge with another settee and a piano. This is a good choice for two people looking for a quiet spot. Hide

This is a very comfortable and clean cottage - well equipped with thoughtful extras - in addition to a lovely garden with incredible views! We had a lovely stay and would recommend to friends and family. There is nothing that we could improve on it was fantastic, peaceful, clean and relaxing. There was a nice touch for our 16 year old dog Poppy, she enjoyed the treats that were left for her. The owners left information on places to go to eat out. We would love to return in the future.
