Spacious period house in an elevated position above the River Dee, walk down the private path to the river, embrace the views from the patio or pop to the local pub. Village location perfect for friends and family, including the dog, to relax and unwind or have an active holiday in Rhewl, just three miles from Llangollen. Superb area for fishing, walking, cycling and visiting attractions. National Trust’s Chirk Castle is 8 miles away, whilst Llangollen (3.7 miles) is closer to home offering a variety of pubs and restaurants, independent shops, and many attractions including the steam railway, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct along the canal, Plas Newydd, Valle Crucis Abbey and Castell Dinas Bran. This is an all-year-round destination.

Enter into the open sunroom with plenty of space for your outdoor attire and a lovely space to sit and relax admiring the view. There is a shower and washing machine here too. Continue through to the bespoke kitchen with all of the equipment you need to prepare a family meal with your local produce purchases. Once ready go through to the dining room with feature fireplace and dining table taking centre stage for everyone to gather round to enjoy a meal together. After dinner make your way through to the lounge with comfortable sofas, Smart TV and wood burner for cosy nights in. When ready for bed there are four bedrooms to choose from, all have been designed for a good night’s sleep and lovely views to wake up to There’s the king-size bed with a feature fireplace, twin, double with a feature fireplace and the bunk bed, double on the bottom and single above. Also on this floor is the large bathroom with shower over freestanding bath and WC, and a separate WC. Enjoy a bubble bath for a leisurely start to the day in this delightful house.

Stepping outside take morning coffee in the open sunroom and deck, go down the steps to the paved patio area with table, chairs and BBQ. Enjoy stunning countryside views listening to the river and wildlife with spectacular sunrises to sunsets to take your breath away. Enjoy the wood burning hot tub (installation date for Easter 2023) whilst watching the river flow beneath you or enjoy the beautiful valley sunsets. Walk down the private path to the River Dee, don’t forget your fishing rods. Private parking for three small cars. If you are bringing your bikes there is a bar to lock your bikes to.

It was a lovely cottage to spend time in. The view was great and we really enjoyed standing on the terrace looking at the river etc. All was comfortable with lovely comfy bed and nice and warm as required.

This cottage is perfect if you want the quiet country life. The constant sound of the water, the stunning views views which can all be enjoyed from the hot tub or the outdoors dinning space. Inside is beautifully kept and very clean. Cannot wait to stay here again

Had the most amazing few days stay at the cottage. Place had everything you need. Clean and tidy. Great location and the views are incredible. Lovely time spent in the hot tub. Helen was very nice and made your feel very welcome. Definitely would stay again

This is a superbly appointed quaint old cottage with wonderful views from a lovely patio. Lots of original features adds interest to anyones stay. We didnt use the hot-tub but if you like that kind of thing, it looked very nice indeed. Kitchen was well equipped and WIFI is strong. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues with any of the equipmentRead more in the house. Very quiet road so little traffic noise and I would recommend this cottage for a peaceful time. Hide

Cottage is amazing and host think of all essentials ready to make your stay amazing. It was lovely to have family time and spend time with grandchildren. Views are amazing and hot tub ready for when we arrived. Definitely a great place to stay, you will not be disappointed
