This cottage is located in the peaceful village of Marloes, just 1.5 miles on foot to the stunning Marloes Sands. The village boasts a local shop, cafe and pub, plus you can easily join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from here and explore miles of coastline. Spend a day at the fantastic golden sand and rugged rock beach - a true hidden Pembrokeshire gem. For days out during the peak season, book a boat out to Skomer Island from Martin's Haven (2.3 miles), where colonies of the famous Pembrokeshire puffin nest (check local guides for best time to visit). Nearby Dale can be reached in 2.5 miles and is a popular spot with sailing and water sports enthusiasts. Milford Haven marina and waterfront can be reached in 9 miles and offers an excellent selection of cafes, restaurants and shops.

As you enter the cottage, you are welcomed into a cosy entrance hallway. Take a right into your main lounge area with comfortable three-seater sofa and armchair centred around the wood-burner and TV. Curl up for the evening after a fun day at the beach or exploring the coast path. On the opposite side of the hall you'll find the dining room / snug with a table for six and a futon sofa to relax on. The cottage has made excellent use of original features combined with beautiful period pieces, creating a real homely, countryside charm. The kitchen and utility room are to the rear of the property, looking out towards the garden. A convenient breakfast bar has been incorporated into the kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee before heading out for the day. Completing the ground floor is the family bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC. Head upstairs to the first floor and you will find two bedrooms. A double room with antique bed frame and hanging space for clothes, and a twin room with space for clothes and belongings. The attention to detail continues on the second floor and the rustic cottage feel combined with modern conveniences makes for a cosy and comfortable stay for couples, friends or small family groups alike.

Externally, the cottage enjoys a generously proportioned private garden with patio seating area. Fire up the BBQ after a day at the beach and enjoy dining al fresco. The lawn area has two steps up from the patio, where children can play. Please note the garden is not fully enclosed at the rear and some dogs may be able to get out and into the neighbouring field - supervision or a lead is required at all times.

The cottage was very aesthetically pleasing, we liked the personal touches & art. We did feel these decorative features took precedence over practicality in places. The kitchen was small & wooden surfaces not great to prepare a meal for a family. The bed a beautiful, antique was very uncomfortable! The stairs should also come with a warning, they arRead moree very steep not great for the elderly or very young. The location was great for Skomer. Hide

The cottage is very conveniently located near to Marloes Sands, on a fairly quiet street. The cottage and its furniture and decor are quirky and unique but at the same time the cottage is comfy, cosy and well equipped.

Really nice property in a lovely village. Very convenient for two beautiful beaches. Quaint, cosy, cheerful house which we would highly recommend. Cottage owner easy to reach and attentive to our needs. We had a little problem with electricity to the house but this was promptly fixed by the owner - we appreciate the service and that the owner was vRead moreery available to help. A small gripe was this property was advertised as having a BBQ but this wasn't there. Overall though a great stay, recommended. Hide
