There’s lots to see and do here including events, outdoor activities, along with historic and coastal towns to discover. There is something for everyone in the village with its 9-hole links golf course, children’s play area, miniature steam railway, and the water taxi from Fairbourne Beach to Barmouth Harbour. Pop to the shops and pub, relax on the beach, swim in the sea, or climb a mountain. Ride the cycle paths, stroll through nature reserves and the Mawddach Trail (6 miles), join the footpaths across Snowdonia National Park, climb Cadair Idris (16 miles), or visit the Blue Lake (10 miles). Further field, within 30 miles, visit King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Portmeirion village, Harlech Castle, Coed y Brenin, and Zip World Slate Caverns.
This attractive bungalow has all the thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Walk into the hall with its coat and boot area. To the right is the stylish kitchen with granite work surfaces, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and all the equipment you need to prepare a meal for family and friends. When the meal is ready, walk through to the dining room with plenty of space for everyone to gather around. After a full day out, head to the lounge to relax on the comfortable sofas, watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV, and light the wood burner for cosy nights in. Walk through the feature doors to the games conservatory, with table football and access to the garden. When ready for bed there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from, two with king-size beds or the full-size bunk beds. Take a leisurely start to the day in the stylish bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The garden wraps round the property with lawn to the front, ideal for children who need to let off steam.
The enclosed back garden is paved and includes a hot tub, table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. There is plenty of space to store your bikes, canoes or paddleboards in the garden.
