With the scenic Haven waterway on its doorstep, this beautiful property in Hazelbeach is great for water-lovers, walkers and families alike. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs close to the cottage and stretches for 186 miles, giving plenty of walking opportunity. The local waterside pub and restaurant are also just a short walk away, ideal for an evening out with friends or family. The marina at Neyland is a short drive away; here you’ll find cafes, a restaurant, boat trips and a harbour with some impressive seafaring vessels. Historic Pembroke is just six miles away, so you can visit its medieval castle - the birthplace of Henry VII - as well as its shops and restaurants. The area has many excellent beaches, with Broad Haven, Barafundle and Freshwater East just a stone’s throw away.

Inside the beautiful semi-detached cottage you’ll find a light and airy open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen where you’ll feel right at home. The cosy lounge area has an original open fireplace, as well as a smart TV and a selection of books and games for you to enjoy - perfect for those quiet evenings in. The contemporary kitchen area overlooks the rear patio, and has an oven, hob, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher, while a utility area houses a washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. The bathroom is on the ground floor, and has a shower over the bath and WC, while upstairs on the first floor there is a separate WC. There are two bedrooms on the first floor with freshly laundered bed linen - one double and one twin.

The enclosed rear patio has a table and chairs, so you can enjoy an al fresco dinner or perhaps just a drink in the sun. This leads to a raised garden with patio, accessed via steps and a ramp, which has stunning waterway views. Please note that some guests might find accessing the upper garden challenging due to the steepness of the steps and ramp.

We had a wonderful weeks stay at Milbank Cottage. The local area and the pub down the road were very pleasant and the pub served delicious meals and were very accomodating with allowing parking for the cottage. The cottage itself was well equipped and comfortable, we slept very well. The garden was very nice to sit at the top when the sun was out, Read moreit was a little sun trap! As per other comments / reviews on the cottage the garden is very steepbut manageable for most. Unfortunately the view as shown in the pictures of the boats in the harbour wasnt as clear due to the surrounding gardens being quite overgrown but this isnt at the fault of the owners. Hide

On arrival the cottage and area is very unviting ,certainly does not live up to the discriptions given . Not wanting to be critical but for what we paid was not worth the money. Suggest anyone booking the cottage to look on google earth for new updated pictures. Once inside it is quite comforatable, shame about patio areas not great.

Lovely cottage, really well decorated in a 'beach house' style - very comfy and snug, especially with the bread oven lit up at night. We really enjoyed the cottage. You probably need to drive to most places, although you can walk to Neyland if you need a local shop. West Angle Bay was brilliant for dogs, as was White Sands at St Davids. The Ferry IRead morenn was really friendly and a fantastic spot. The owners were brilliant with a little issue we had - super responsive - we'd definitely go back! Hide
