We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Its in a lovely location and was particularly convenient for exploring the surrounding towns and accessing local amenities. It made a great base for our family, and there was plenty to enjoy in the area. One of the highlights for our five-year-old and our dog! was seeing the goats and pigs nearby. TheRead morey were a real bonus and definitely added to the enjoyment of our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the cottage was generally clean and well presented. There were a few cobwebs in the higher areas, behind some of the plants and a little dust on the window sills, but overall the cottage was clean and comfortable. The lounge sofas were the one area we felt could be improved, as they lacked support in the base and werent particularly comfortable for longer periods. Replacing them would make the lounge even more enjoyable. Parking is something worth being aware of before booking. There is space for one car at the cottage, and the parking is monitored by a car park agency, so its important to park correctly to avoid a fine. Additional cars can be parked in a lay-by a few minutes walk away, although this does involve crossing the main road. With a five-year-old and an 85-year-old in our group, this wasnt ideal, but it may be less of an issue for other guests. There was occasionally a noticeable smell of sewage, presumably from the septic tank which is relatively close to the property. It wasnt constant, but it was noticeable at times. The upstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath, with the bath tucked into a corner/inset area. We found this could be a little difficult for our older relative to get in and out of, so its worth considering for anyone travelling with elderly guests. The cottage is close to a main road, so some traffic noise can be heard when windows and doors are open or when sitting out on the decking. We didnt find this particularly troublesome, but it is something to be aware of if youre looking for a very quiet rural setting. The Wi-Fi was probably the biggest practical issue during our stay. The mobile 4G/5G signal was good, but the cottages internet connection was quite poor, making streaming Netflix, BBC iPlayer and similar services difficult. The owners were fantastic and very responsive. When we mentioned that the bathroom light wasnt working, they arranged for an electrician to visit the following morning, and the light unit was replaced straight away. It was reassuring to know that any issues were dealt with so promptly. Decking area needs replacing due to wood being rotten and balustrade unsafe due to rotten posts. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend the cottage. The location is excellent for exploring the area, the animals were a real treat for our family, and the owners were friendly and very responsive. With a few improvements to the sofas, decking, Wi-Fi and some of the practical aspects mentioned above, it could be an even more enjoyable stay. Hide

Beds very comfortable, good location to access local areas although road noise very loud. Internet was pretty ineffective. General cleaning could be improved as shelves and skirting dusty. Property looking a little tired but fabulous weather and long days at the beaches compensated

The cottage was beautiful, clean and well stocked with appliances, the surrounding area was very pleasant, the animals were a joy. the only issue was that my small dog could still get through the fencing that was around the enclosed decking area so he had to be kept on a lead at all times, but other than that it was a lovely place to stay

The cottage is well equipped and is in a great location. We visited with dog too and the outside location was well equipped with dog bins. There were animals around to see including pigs and goats.

Cottage is very well presented, the bedrooms are spacious and accommodating. Kitchen is very well stocked, house is neat and tidy with all amenities you need. Location is good, definitely need to have a car to drive to Tenby or other locations as there is no amenities near by / walking distance. The cottage is on a site where there are multiple newRead more holiday homes. Parking is an issue! Only one allocated space and unclear where to park other vehicles. Road noise is a bit of an issue.
