Delightful terraced cottage laying at the heart of the quaint estuary village of St Dogmaels. Pubs, shops and cafe, set along the pretty river, are a short walk from your door. St Dogmaels has a working water mill, Y Felin, and a 12th century Abbey for you to explore. There is an award winning farmers market held in the village every Tuesday. Under two miles is the Blue Flag sandy beach at Poppit Sands with access to the coastal path, alternatively join the path in St Dogmaels itself which is the start/finish of the 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Cardigan, with its feature castle and eclectic mix of establishments, is a 20 minute walk or short drive by car or bus. Coastal lovers will marvel at seaside villages in either direction, providing boat trips and plenty of wildlife watching too. We had a lovely relaxing week at Tynwald in St. Dogmaels, the house is centrally situated in the village close to all the excellent amenities, we enjoyed our Wedding Anniversary dinner at The Ferry Inn and walked into Cardigan for a delicious Sunday lunch at 1126 restaurant. Tynwald is spacious, light, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. OuRead morer dog enjoyed his early morning visit to see the ducks on the mill pond and his longer walks to Poppet Sands. We would highly recommend Tynwald. Hide
