Visit the Maritime Museum, high profile boating events at Hafan Pwllheli Marina, Caernarfon marina and Castle, Lloyd George Museum, Criccieth Castle and National Trust Plas yn Rhiw. The cottage occupies a neighbouring site to that of St Beuno’s parish church. The site is said to be that of a Celtic monastery founded by Beuno in the early 7th century that was later pillaged and burnt by both the Vikings and the Normans.

Park your car and wander up the path to the porch and back door or round to the front and into the hall. Hang up your coats, take off your walking boots or sandals and start to relax. Ahead is the fabulous galley kitchen, well-equipped with electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, combi-microwave and dishwasher creating a lovely space to rustle up a meal. You will find the washer/dryer in the porch with lots of other useful items. The dining room, with oak parquet floors and hand-crafted staircase up to the lounge, is flooded with natural light with the dining table taking centre stage for you to gather round, enjoy a meal or play cards and board games after dinner. The welcoming twin bedroom with views toward the garden can also be found on the ground floor. Enjoy a bubble bath or take an invigorating shower in the stylish bathroom and dry off with lovely soft towels. In this reversed level quirky cottage, you can relax in the lounge on the first floor with views over the garden and towards the coast. Settle down on the comfortable sofas, plan your holiday activities or watch a film on the Smart TV. If there is a nip in the air put on the coal burner effect electric fire set in the feature slate fireplace and lose yourself in a good book or watch the sun set over the sea. The second bedroom leads off the lounge and has been designed for a good night’s sleep with the comfortable king-size bed. The property is full of period features, interesting objects and all the thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay.

The garden is a delight, attracting wildlife with specimen plants and shrubs, water feature, cobbled walkways and lawns. A wonderful cottage, in a wonderful setting. Lovely and extremely comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of the country. There were 4 of us, we were extremely comfortable so much so that we spent every night eating there instead of going out. The kitchen was especially well equipped and the garden absolutely beautiful. I hope to go there again soon and visit other part of North Wales.

Just love this place. Clean, well equipped. Small kitchen, but who cares? We are on holiday. Majority of cooking is banned. The bed is comfy. The stairs are easy to climb. Plenty of lighting. The best bit is the fully secured garden. Our dog loves it. Very friendly neighbours too. Owners are always contactable if needed.

We felt immediately at home on arrival and the location feels comfortingly isolated. There is noise from the A499, but it's sufficiently distant not to be an irritant. My dog loved the place, especially the garden.
