Venture down into this lovely seaside town where you'll find an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and miles of golden beach. This is the ideal destination for those who enjoy the sun and surf. Walkers will love striking out along the rugged coastline and if you fancy a longer ramble you can walk to the pretty fishing village of Appledore (3 miles). Also nearby are the towns of Bideford and Instow, the house and gardens of Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep family attraction and World of Wonder soft play (all within 5 miles). Slightly further afield, there is The Milky Way adventure park (9 miles), RHS Rosemoor (11 miles), Dartington Crystal (10 miles) and Clovelly (11.5 miles) which is a harbour village and well known for its steep cobbled main street where donkeys are still used to transport goods to the cottages. Please be aware that the walk back to the property is uphill and may not be suitable for those less mobile, but there are car parks available in town, should you wish to drive.
Step inside this beautifully presented home and find yourself in the hallway that leads into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven and a gas hob, a microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee pod machine and a fridge/freezer. The utility houses the washer/dryer. It is completely enclosed with a lovely lawn for games and a patio where you will be able to BBQ and enjoy warm evenings relaxing and making plans for the next day's adventure. There is parking for two cars and use of the garage to store bicycles and surfboards. The double garage also contains a good quality six foot multitable with pool, (electric fan) air hockey and table tennis, as well as a dart board. Useful additions like spare wellies and bodyboards for kids and adults are also available in the garage.
