Located within dramatic medieval castle walls, the seafaring town of Tenby is now a flourishing seaside resort with four fantastic white sandy beaches. There’s a wonderful range of welcoming pubs, restaurants and cafes to sample, scattered throughout the town’s narrow streets, along with galleries, boutique shops and historic buildings including the Tudor Merchant’s House. Boat trips from the pretty harbour take you out to the monastic Caldey Island, or you can enjoy a fishing trip out to sea. The beautiful dune-backed South Beach stretches for a mile and a half and is ideal for swimming, sunbathing and windsurfing. Tenby Golf Course is close to the beach. Also nearby are Manor Wildlife Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo.

Set on the second floor of a former hotel, this beautifully equipped apartment has been attractively furnished and features views over South Beach and towards Caldey Island. The property is entered via a video security entry system, and you can take a lift or stairs up to the apartment. On entering, you will find the light and spacious lounge/diner. A delightful space for relaxing in, the charming lounge offers fantastic sea views from the big bay windows, as well as Smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating, making this a wonderful space to unwind in at the end of a great day out. There’s also an airy dining area, perfect for sharing a family meal. The fully equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Exploring the property further, there are two light, restful bedrooms. The first is a double room with sea views, TV, hair dryer and an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. The twin bedroom features two single beds and TV. Finally, the apartment has a shower room with shower and WC.

Stepping outside, you will find a shared garden with a seating area. Parking is permitted outside the property (subject to council permit), with a public car park nearby. The beach is just across the road, with the town centre just a short stroll away.

Great location and if you pay for the weeks residential permit you can park right outside the building. I loved watching the sea in the morning it made getting up early worth it. Thank you

Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Needs a professional deep clean and maintenance is required in parts and some of the appliances/tools need replacing. Unfortunately we nearly cut the holiday short because of this. We cant deny the views were incredible but this is where the positivity ends. The hoover didnt work and the freezer didnt work proRead moreperly, the food we brought defrosted, even though we tried to reset it as per the manual. The radiators looked to be growing mold/fur, especially the one in the en-suite, but they were all pretty awful to be honest. The kitchen oven was extremely dirty and needs a good deep clean, unfortunately some of the equipment/utensils were dirty too, or possibly need replacing, and the kitchen sides/doors were sticky in places. Mold, grime and limescale apparent in certain areas, especially in the bathroom, shower and en-suite. The bath panel was broken and grime/dust running alongside. The shower head needs replacing in the en-suite as it was thick in grime/limescale, so we didnt use that shower. Taps in the main bathroom didnt work properly (especially the cold tap). There was dried on toothpaste up the bathroom wall, below the mirror, and soap scum on the shower doors as well as grime/dirt around the shower. The floors needed a good hoover in parts, especially around the edges of the rooms and under the beds. There were greasy marks on the glass dining table, especially underneath the glass, and drink spills/marks on the wooden side tables. Bedroom drawers had previous occupants hair, bits and crumbs inside so these werent used. There was a stain on the pillowcase in the main bedroom, so that wasnt used either. I didnt think I would be buying bleach and cleaning products at the start of our stay to make it more bearable. Unfortunate review. Photos were taken if required. Hide

A beautiful location and a very well presented apartment. Lovely views and a spacious comfortable lounge. Well equipped and smart clean kitchen. The lift was a real bonus. Hopefully we will stay again in off peak season.

The apartment is beautiful and delivers what is promised. The spacious, well-kept furnishings allow you to enjoy even rainy days. Everything you need for daily life is there. Fantastic sea view . Great location to walk into Tenby . The flat seems to have been a bit neglected . A leaking shower screen and 7 ceiling spotlights not working were reported straight away and quickly rectified . There were no blinds at the front facing lounge widows - even in February the sun shining in meant it was impossible to sit and enjoy Read morethe view . The only way to regulate the heating temperature was to clamber into a below floor level cupboard and adjust the boiler control . Hide
