This historic apartment is the perfect escape for two. Situated in the centre of seaside resort Tenby, there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes to try during your stay. Tenby Castle is less than 500 metres away and is well worth a wander around, as is the National Trust’s Tudor Merchant’s House (400 metres). Pembroke Castle (11 miles) is set in an idyllic location and is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Spend sunny days on North Beach (less than 400 metres) where Goscar Rock rears out of the sand in the centre of the strip, or hop on the ferry to Priory Bay on Caldey Island (3 miles on foot and via ferry) to sunbathe with a backdrop of lush greenery.

As soon as you step into the property, you’ll feel its grandeur and 19th-century style. The large open-plan living area is filled with light thanks to three large windows looking out over the harbour and Carmarthen Bay, but draw the heavy curtains in the evening and it’s a cosy space to sink into the sofas in front of the TV. Enjoy meals at the elegant dining table cooked in the spacious kitchen; you’ll find a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge to help you cook up a storm. Glossy neutral cabinets and tasteful tiled flooring complement the rest of the property while giving it a contemporary feel. The bathroom has a shower over the bath with brilliant white decor and lots of storage space for your toiletries so you can pamper yourself while you’re here. A king-size bed in the bedroom ensures you’ll get a perfect night’s sleep alongside the large, mullioned windows, soft lighting and tasteful decor that complements the magnificent 19th-century ceiling made by skilled Italian plasterers.

The nearest free parking is available approximately 1 mile from the property if required. While there is no outdoor space at this property, the beach is only 400 metres away, perfect for early morning strolls and evenings spent watching the sunset.

We really enjoyed our stay at No 4 North Bay. Owner looked after us good.
