Detached Edwardian house with lots of character, located in a small village near Fairbourne. Perfect for groups of friends or families, with Snowdonia National Park to explore from your doorstep.

This Edwardian property was lovingly refurbished in 2016, beautifully furnished and full of period features with Victorian tiles and views towards the mountains and glimpses of the sea. Set in a well-stocked, pretty tiered garden.

Located in Friog, a small village near to Fairbourne. Boasting a steam railway which takes you to seaside towns of Harlech, Portmadog Twynn and Aberystwyth to name a few, water taxi to Barmouth, family play area, golf course, pubs, restaurants and shops, with the sandy beach, craggy cliff and sea beyond. Within easy reach you can join a myriad of footpaths or cycle routes along the coast, estuary or countryside in Snowdonia National Park. Find the special Blue Lake in Friog or climb to the top of Cadair Idris. Activities on offer include swimming, sailing, canoeing, horse riding, walking and cycling, and with so many attractions to visit from King Arthurs Labyrinth to the zip wire, there is always something to see and do.

Enter the property into a vibrant hallway, with plenty of space to store your shoes and walking boots. The lounge with wooden flooring and feature rugs and cushions enjoys lovely mountain views. The dining room is warm and cosy  with a TV and stylish décor, perfect for intimate meals with family and friends. There is a separate breakfast room just off the kitchen, ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee and reading the morning paper. Continue through to the colourful kitchen, turn on the radio and rustle up a feast for your guests. Meander upstairs to the bedrooms in the evening, with comfortable bed linen. All four bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with beautiful wooden flooring and feature fireplaces in the twin bedrooms. With two separate bathrooms, you can take a refreshing shower or soak in a hot bubble bath to unwind after a day of exploring the National Park.

Outside, the established tiered gardens are available for you to explore and admire. Relax on the patio area, with garden furniture for alfresco dining. The separate studio acts as the games room, with pool table, games console and a plethora of board games to enjoy. An ideal space for children to play and have fun. The garden itself also offers swingball, meaning hours of fun for the whole family.

Llifor is a beautiful house set in stunning gardens. Everything you could ask for is provided to make this a home from home experience, a special shout for the artwork which has been sourced to reflect the location. The spacious house was ideal for our three generational family plus dog. The views from every window and the proximity to Fairbourne beach and the excellent coastal train service were an added bonus.

We loved staying at Llifor which was a brilliant sized property and garden for 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 4 dogs! It was easy to walk into FAIRBOURNE which had a great fish and chip shop and we would also recommend the Bar and Grill. The beach was fantastic and loved by us all! The house was a great base for visiting other places too like Aberdovey,Read more Dolgoch Falls and Lake Bala. Overall a brilliant holiday! Hide

This elegant, spacious house was perfect for our family group of 6 and 3 dogs. We loved the house with its spacious well furnished rooms, comfortable beds and big kitchen. Laundry room useful for feeding dogs. Teenagers liked the games room! They also played badminton on the front lawns. The gardens are wonderful!! Lovely cottage! We have looked at Llifor for a few years now and each time dismissed it as we thought the area might be a bit quiet for us (5 adults/2 Families so we do like our own space!) But honestly neednt have worried, The cottage is about 15 mins walk along a pavement into Fairbourne where there is a chip shop, post office and mini mart plus Read more2 pubs a sandwich shop and the train station. Beach is dog friendly and a really lovely stroll along the coast and only 10 mins by train to Barmouth Hide

This cottage was great for our 7 adults & 4 large dogs. Spacious & very well maintained with beautiful gardens and scenery. The cottage is very comfortable. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable as was the lounge. We were lucky with the weather so it was lovely sitting in the garden and taking in the beautiful surroundings, enjoying a few drinks aRead morend food. Secure garden meant the dogs were safe. Within 10/15 mins walking distance from pub, F&C shop and pebbly beach. Will definitely book again. Hide

We found the property warm and comfortable, beds in particular. Garden was great for our dogs. Liked that there were several rooms that could be used for different purposes so we didnt all have to do the same thing. Good location for the beach and mountains, plenty of outside stuff to do in close proximity. At first we thought the road might be intRead morerusive but we hardly heard it. Great location and comfortable accommodation. The house was homely and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a great stay and enjoyed some lovely walks despite the winter mist.
