Set in the simply splendid coastal village of Ogmore-by-Sea, lying between Southerndown and Porthcawl in the Vale of Glamorgan. This lesser-known village has a super beach, which is just yards from the property, enjoyed throughout the year by both families and surfers alike. There is a very popular cafe just along the road and a craft shop too. The coastal path offers breath-taking scenery in either direction. Visit Ogmore Castle a 2 mile drive or walk way, or perhaps visit the remains of Dunraven Castle and the walled garden in Southerndown. For the discerning shopper, Cowbridge is a short drive with a range of independent shops and Cardiff city is slightly further afield. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Laid across three floors to make the most of the wonderful sea views, you enter the hallway on the entrance level floor. On this floor there is a small double bedroom and a wet room with an easy access wheelchair friendly shower and WC and a separate WC. There is also a reception lounge with TV/DVD with fabulous sea views. Head down a half flight of open tread stairs to the main lounge, set on the ground floor. This can be accessed via the stairlift which can transport you to the ground floor if needed. This super space has comfortable sofas, an open fire and stunning sea and beach views. The perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Head across the small hallway to the kitchen, which again has great coastal views along with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with a tumble dryer and a large American fridge/freezer and sink facilities. It is also handy for keeping any surfing equipment tucked away. From the kitchen you can head through to the dining room which has floor to ceiling views and doors to the outside, so you can let the outside in during those warmer months. Back up the stairs to the entrance level floor and up an additional flight to the first floor, is where you will find the three further bedrooms, two doubles, and a further single bedroom, also with an additional single pull-out bed, all with excellent sea views.

Heading outside to rear of the property,  there is an enclosed patio and decked area with panoramic sea views, there perfect spot to enjoy the evening sun. There is off-road parking for two cars on the driveway.

Fabulous location overlooking the sea. The terraced area was large and perfect to eat outside. Our dog loved patrolling the decking. Inside it was thoughtfully laid out. This property was lovely, overlooking the beach with beautiful views. The home was lovely and spacious with two living rooms. It was the perfect place and location. Would definitely book again. The walk to the beach is less than 10 minutes, a great post office that sells lots of essentials and a cafe over the road.

The sea view is fantastic from the upstairs bedrooms and very good from the office, downstairs and the balcony. It's seen better days, you can see tiny damp patches in a couple of the corners and the patio slabs could do with cleaning and weeding but those views are amazing.
