Venture across the water, on the seasonal passenger ferry to the fishing village of Appledore with its maze of narrow lanes, brightly painted cottages and bustling quayside. Nearby is Westward Ho! which boasts 2 miles of golden and is great for surfing. The pannier market town of Bideford is a 10-minute drive with its shops and restaurants and is home to The Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island.
Step into the property from the car park into the rear courtyard and and enter into the kitchen/diner. Head through the archway and into the lounge which has been beautifully decorated to give a relaxed feel. After a busy day exploring curl up on the sofa and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV or snuggle up in front of the contemporary gas fire. Head back into the kitchen/diner where you can cook a family meal in the well-equipped kitchen with Rangemaster cooker with gas ovens and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. From here you can access the enclosed sun-trapped courtyard. Head upstairs to the two bedrooms, there is a master double bedroom with a TV and French doors opening onto a small balcony which boasts views to the sand dunes, sea and over to the quaint fishing village of Appledore. The second bedroom has a single bed which can be extended into a double on request, but please note it is a small room. Finishing the accommodation is a shower room with shower and WC.
Heading outside from the kitchen/diner is the enclosed sun-trapped courtyard with undercover seating area, a perfect space to enjoy your morning coffee while planning your day ahead. There is a useful outside tap for washing off sandy toes! There is an allocated parking space and further roadside parking nearby.
