The cottage overall was good with plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The location was superb for a quiet holiday with plenty of walks around the estate.

Beautiful cottage in an ideal location for dogs except it would be nice if there was a walking area where they could be let off the lead. Ideally situated for Devon and Dorset. would definitely consider a return.

Great location with walks on the doorstep. Safe for children and pets. The property was comfortable but lacked some personal touches, West Lodge would benefit from some updating .. beds were on the small side but comfortable. Good bathrooms. Kitchen equipmentand table furniture and TV and kitchen should be updated. Garden area needs some attention Read more. This property could be superb with some TLC. Hide

The cottage was as described, the heating and hot water was very good. The grounds are to great to walk around. I had previously lived in the house so it was interesting to see how things have changed. The environment is very quiet. Disappointing stay due to cleanliness issues and poor quality furnishings, information in booklet provided by cottage out of date, went to walk to the private beach and was informed it was too dangerous because of the landslip. The location of the cottage on the estate is quaint, we enjoyed walking around the estate. The cottage was roomy and reasonably comfortable. The pictures of the cottage on the website are much better than the reality. Cleanliness needs addressing.

Rather over-priced for what is very much a no-frills holiday let: basic equipment (no welcome pack at all, not even tea and biscuits; few decent wine glasses, no hair dryer, not enough loo rolls, no children's crocks or cutlery; no books or games of any kind), house over-shadowed by large trees.
