I stayed at Tack Bothy for a week with my dog and it was the perfect location for us. The garden around the bothy and Shepherds Hut is enclosed and so my dog could wander around as he wished. The fence between the garden and the garden to the larger cottage next door though is not very high at around 3 feet so some dogs could possibly jump over it Read moreif they were that way inclined. The hot tub is lovely with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The dog field is just across the way from the Bothy and my dog loved it. It is quite steep to walk all the way to the top but once there, it was lovely to sit on the bench and look out over the rooves of the cottages to the hills of Wales beyond. I found it to be the perfect place to rest and recharge and definitely recommend it for 1 or 2 people and a dog. Hide

Response from holidaycottages.co.uk; Thanks for your feedback, we are pleased you loved the beautiful situation of this rural property. The bothy is small as clearly detailed in the description. Big plans are underway to add an adjoining shepherds hut containing a lounge with wood burner and a kitchen. This will result in the original stone bothy housing the bedroom and shower room only offering far more space to enjoy the surroundings in comfort. It is appreciated if departure times can be adhered to as often new guests are arriving later the same day.
