The popular seaside resort of West Bay is just 4 miles away, with its bustling harbour and expansive beach made famous by TV series Broadchurch. Charmouth is 5 miles west and has a popular fossil-hunting beach with hammers and goggles available to hire. Further west again is Lyme Regis, a seaside town with a range of independent shops and eateries as well as a family-friendly beach. There is ample room to enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table whilst planning your days ahead. Heading through the lounge/dining room you will find the contemporary kitchen where you can prepare your favourite meals whilst admiring the views out to the garden. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine and washing machine. A door from the kitchen leads out to the garden. Steep, cottage-style stairs lead upstairs to three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and is a bright and airy dual aspect room. There are two further cosy bedrooms, one with a small double bed (accessed on one side) and the other with a single bed. Completing the first floor is the bathroom (accessed via one step up), which has a bath with a shower over, a WC and a heated towel rail.

To the rear of the cottage, you can enjoy the enclosed garden with table and chairs. Step onto the patio in the morning, hands wrapped around a steaming mug of coffee, and listen to the chorus of birdsong. This is a lovely character cottage, tastefully decorated and with a well kept, practical garden for a young family and a playing field and playground right next door. It is a 15 minute walk to Seatown, with a glorious shingle beach, a pizza place and a great dining pub. The nearby Spar stocks all the essentials. The kitchen is well equipped. The owRead morener was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries or issues. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and highly recommend. Note parking is very tight Hide

Meadow Cottage felt like home very quickly, and we looked forward to getting back there after some wonderful coastal hikes. The house and garden are beautiful, and the little park next door was useful for the early morning dog routine. There are three friendly pubs a walk away for dinner, so we took a welcome break from cooking. Loved it.

Lovely little cottage with a lot of character. We really enjoyed the stay as a family of 5 with a toddler. The kitchen has all the necessities to cook a family dinner. We needed to duck at some of the doors even at 1.8m height. The garden is well secured and was a real treat for our dog. The leisure field next door is the in official dog park whichRead more is great. The beach and town are only a short foot walk away. Curbside parking right in front is a bit tight. Hide
