This property is situated close to the centre of the Brixham, a pretty harbour town which is located on the western edge of Torbay in South Devon. The town itself has a range of interesting shops and a number of well-regarded restaurants, many of which specialise in serving the local seafood. Some visitors, on the other hand, like to take the opportunity to catch their own supper and join one of the accompanied fishing cruises that leave from the town’s harbour, or alternatively take a leisurely trip on one of the pleasure boats that run around the bay. Days at the beach are easy to enjoy here, as there are several beaches within easy reach of the property, including the town’s main Breakwater beach.

This pretty cottage makes a lovely place to stay and guests will love the attractive tastefully styling which shows the thought that has been put into creating a restful holiday home. On entering the property, guests come first to the welcoming lounge, with is comfortable seating, TV, DVD, Netfix and artfully exposed stone wall. A winding steep cottage staircase leads to the lower-ground floor where the kitchen/diner is situated, offering a fantastic selection of equipment including an oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and separate wine fridge. The dining table comfortably seats four and sits next to the stable door which opens onto the property’s outside space. (Please note that the kitchen has a low ceiling and some reduced head-height). Returning to the ground floor, the winding steep cottage staircase continue on to the first-floor accommodation where guests will find the master bedroom, with its double bed, TV and fitted wardrobe. The winding staircase continues on to the second floor, where guests can enjoy the twin room. Also located on this floor is the main family bathroom which has a shower-over-bath and WC.

Outside, to the rear of the property, there is a small patio area surrounded by plants and greenery, giving it a private, secluded feel. There is a parking permit for one car in a nearby Church car park,  close to the property.

Well equipped house in perfect location. End of season was probably why there were some issues. Although dog friendly, not suitable for young or small dogs. Stairs could be an issue for young children and elderly. Cleaners came 5 mins early and were rude and made it very stressful leaving. Considering we were told not to go in before 3

Lovely cottage, brilliant location, so quick and easy to walk into the centre of Brixham, and wonderful to have the church bells so close! Really cosy and nicely decorated/appointed- geat value for money. Local pub a few doors down, quite noisy (though all good natured) on Friday and Saturday.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Its in a great location, just a short walk down to the harbour and the parking permit was very useful as there is no on road parking outside. A lovely cottage in a great location, close to town. Very well equipped with everything we needed. A great pub just down the road too & no problem with the noise at night. The stairs are steep as described in the details when booking but it was not a problem for us.

Nice property to explore Brixham and the region. Cottage sleeps 4 and is comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need & the outdoor seating is fully enclosed. There are steep steps to all 3 floors & so the cottage would not be suitable for all.
