It is perfectly located for beach-combing the estuary shore and walking the coastal path with its wonderful views, while the nearby beach at Westward Ho! offers great surfing. A short drive will take you to the Elizabethan port of Bideford and the cliff-side village Clovelly. Nearby attractions include the beautiful gardens of Tapeley Park or RHS Rosemoor or for the kids, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. At the end of the day, watch the sun sink beneath the waves from a waterside pub.

You’ll step into a small entrance lobby before heading into the delightful, open-plan lounge with wood laminate flooring, rugs, pictures and artwork by local artists and an attractive heart creates a cosy feel to the room. When you just want to relax on the sofa you can make use of the TV with BT entertainment, DVD and CD. The kitchen/diner offers painted units, an electric oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Very well situated for sightseeing in the area and a nice little cottage, very close to harbour and lovely sea views, albeit very small, but not a problem for 2 adults and a child. Appledore is a lovely harbourside town, would recommend the Maritime museum (fascinating stories of Appledores involvement on DDay) and the local Ice cream.(Delicious!)

This cottage is small but fine for 2 people and a dog for a week. Clean and tidy. In a great location in the middle of lovely Appledore. We had no issues and friendly communications with the local agent.

This little cottage is well equipped, very clean and just a stone's throw from the Appledore beach, Quay and car park. It was comfortable but very snug. It would suit a couple with a younger child (supervision on steep stairs would be needed), but was just too small for me and my two kids (13 and 10). There was quite a lot of noise at night around Read moreclosing time as the cottage is directly on the street. The garden is as pictured - a small patio with no view. A great cottage for a smaller family! Hide
