This cottage is really comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and lounge. The wood burner is easy to use and the shower works well. Maybe not great for those who find stains challenging as there are a lot! We would definitely stay again if we were back in this area.

Stone Cottage is a lovely well equipped, comfortable, tastefully presented, warm cottage. The location is great, quiet but within easy walk of Lynton shops and facilities. It is easy to do walks immediately from the door. There is only on street parking which may be a problem for some some, but we found places and don't mind a short walk. Lovely property, very spacious. Our teenage son loved the garden room for his own space while my husband and I enjoyed the cosy lounge with the log burner. The property was spotlessly clean and well stocked with basic cleaning supplies. Just a short stroll from the beautiful valley of the Rocks and even less into Lynton Town. Great location, amazing views, spacious, exceptionally well equipped and lots of little details that make your stay perfect. The lovely addition of home baked goods and milk for the week impressed my guests. The host was communicative and helpful when my dog became unwell. I would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

We have stayed at Stone Cottage at least 6 times and it works perfectly for us as a younger family back in the day to grown up children now with space to come together and sometimes more importantly, space to be on your own. The location is perfect to get treats from the shop, an easy stroll from the bus stop (as we travel by public transport) and Read moremore importantly the start of great walks to Six Acres, Valley of the Rocks or the high path to Watersmeet. To top it off, were welcomed with treats Hide

Had a lovely stay at Stone Cottage in March 2025, lots of lovely walks nearby and fantastic beaches in Croyde which was a 40 min drive away but worth it. We managed to park close to the cottage so did not find this a problem and ate out most evenings in Lynton and Lynmouth as most places were dog friendly.

No parking! The most uncomfortable bed I have slept in for years and freezing cold despite the heating that returned to 17 every time we put it up. The garden is dangerous and not safe for dogs. It was so disappointing that we left early just so we could be warm, sleep comfortably, the dog could run in the garden and our car could be safely parked Read moreon our drive. Definitely not as described. Plus the lounge light fitting has never seen a cleaning cloth and there were cobwebs. Not recommended. Hide
