This location is renowned for its network of walks, which wind through picturesque countryside taking in sights such as Pilsdon Pen, Ham Hill and The Cerne Abbas Giant, which are all within easy reach. There are also various locations and excursions for lake, sea and course fishing on the doorstep. The vibrant market town of Bridport is 6 miles away and is home to popular weekly markets as well as an eclectic selection of shops selling antiques and vintage curios. The charming fishing village of West Bay, also known to many as Broadchurch, is 8 miles away and is located on one of the most dramatic stretches of the Jurassic Coast. West Bay offers some stunning landscapes to explore, with breath taking views from its cliff tops that surround the village. Head along the coast to the quaint and stylish seaside town of Lyme Regis where you can stroll along the iconic Cobb harbour and seafront promenade or perhaps laze on the sandy beach. There is no shortage of fantastic days out to be had from this property.

A flight of stairs leads to the first floor and a striking sitting room with a high ceiling and feature window with a blackout blind for privacy. A decorative fireplace adds further character to the room, where you can sit and relax in front of the Smart TV or enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table. Next door is the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, small freezer and microwave. At the rear of the property is a light and bright king-size bedroom with another large feature window with views across the playing fields and countryside beyond. The bedrooms both share the contemporary bathroom located on the first floor, which has a L shape shower bath and WC.

Heading outside from the ground floor hallway you will find a private, enclosed courtyard garden immediately to the rear of the property. This is a sheltered, sunny spot which is not overlooked and is ideal for al fresco dining and drinks. A covered off-road parking space for one small/medium car is available to the front of the cottage together with free roadside parking.

Lovely cottage and location. Parking space was small our Toyota Yaris (latest model) didn't clear the pavement but there was enough space to pass.

Lovely cottage, beautifully situated and very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close to restaurants and a Co-op - though watch out, very few restaurants were open on Mondays. The bed was on the soft side so worth being aware if you prefer a firm mattress. The parking space is indeed very small. Our Clio hung over the footpath and although Read morewhen we spoke to neighbours they said they were ok with this, it was clear that they were annoyed by cars which overhung a lot more and blocked people walking on walking sticks or with dogs (nearly everyone). We very much enjoyed our stay - a unique location. Hide
