This delightful property is set in the North Devon countryside and provides an idyllic country retreat, adjacent to the owners’ home, yet providing privacy. A short stroll to the village pub and shop and within a short drive of the beautiful beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde both renowned for their golden sand, facilities and life guards that ensure safe family swimming during the summer months. Further afield, you have the picturesque villages of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe where its common to find some of the best surf this country has to offer. During your stay, a visit to Ilfracombe Harbour is a must, boasting an array of cafes, shops and restaurants along the water’s edge as well as a dog friendly beach.

Enter the property into the entrance hall and the kitchen is on your left, providing a well-equipped and spacious area in which to prepare a meal or quick snack with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Walking through the kitchen you are lead through to the dining room with a good size table and then into the lounge with large windows offering superb south facing views over the garden and open countryside. A patio door leads out to a balcony with seating, an ideal spot to relax and watch the natural wildlife whilst enjoying a coffee or glass of wine. The twin bedroom is located just off from the lounge and has an unusual rounded wall with en-suite shower with WC. The double bedroom is located off from the kitchen and also has an en-suite shower room with WC.

Heading outside, to the front of the property, there is a well-kept garden area with seating. The garden area is a fantastic outdoor space to enjoy the warmth of the sun whilst dining al-fresco with a BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars available.

We were met a the door by the friendly owners who showed us round what is a faultless accommodation.Settled in in minutes. Comfortable furniture ,good beds and very good showers. Owners always willing to chat. Very relaxing views of fields with cows and sheep.Don't let the satnav take you on a goose chase .Use the A361.

Not really any disabled adaptations. It could have done with some hand grips to help disabled customers get up off the toilet

Very comfortable hard to find but owners helpful trouble with one shower but sorted as quick as they could parking an issue and only one car fits as owners have two

our first stay here ,apartment was lovely and clean well equipped and comfortable ,lovely views from lounge with balcony and easy reach to get to places, their is also an excellent community shop and pub in village

Lovely clean apartment that is well equipped. Comfortable beds, decent showers and a stunning view from the lounge. Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Lynton & Lynmouth all within easy reach. Village pub within walking distance serving good food.

Fantastic location for north Devon, it was a bit tricky to find but the owners were there exactly when we needed them for help. Places were easy to get to. Ensure you do your research for parking which is quite expensive at 14 daily in some places. The cottage one floor and owners below , if okay with this its definitely a place to return too each Read moreyear. fully equipped, parking for one car on drive as long as small SUV and below. From Dean Cross (A361) an idyllic country lane, with ample passing places, leads to picturesque West Down with its lovely pub and friendly community shop. This was our 4th stay at Tanglemead and our 5th is booked. The apartment is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a holiday. A comfortable and peaceful place to stay. We were able to treat it as a home from home, escaping as we were from a building site around our own home. Lovely view over a valley, plenty of birdsong. On two rainy days we settled in, in hibernation mode. The village is pleasant, an excellent community shop and nice pub. Beaches, walks, Ilfracombe and BRead morearnstaple in very easy reach. Hide

One of the best places I have stayed in this area. Stunning views from the lounge with a lovely little balcony. Kitchen was very well stocked and had everything you may need. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was lovely and clean, with a nice & well equip kitchen for your very need, lovely gardens around the cottage, nice comfortable lounge to relax in, comfortable beds, Julie & Time very helpful. This was our third stay at Tanglemead and we have rebooked for next year. Lovely location apartment was clean and provided everything we needed. Tim and Julie the owners were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble if we needed them for anything.
