It was a lovely cottage on a sheep farm and given the temperature was so high the thick walls maintained a coolness in the cottage. It provided swift access to the Hay Literary Festival and we intend to book it again for next year.

This is a very nice cottage set in a beautiful part of the country with lots of wildlife, especially red kites. Well positioned for the towns in the area, try Crickhowell, Brecon, Hay-on-Wye and also Talgarth with its excellent butchers, mill cafe and other useful shops. A lovely setting, a pretty little cottage with beautiful walks on your door step. The log burner is wonderful in the evenings but the bedrooms are a little chilly at night. Other than that a great base for exploring.
